Radhiya Hemchandra. The Change maker.

Radhiya Hemchandra is the younger daughter of International All Breeds Dog Show Judge Yashodhara, whose kennel " Yashbans" is recognised world over and she is India's finest breeder of dogs for over the last 38 years. Having grown up on a farm Radhiya naturally acquired the love for the conservation of the environment and nurturing abandoned, injured birds and animals. Radhiya has extended this love, knowledge and personal experience to promote the well-being of animals.


Having observed and assisted her mother groom Show dogs, Radhiya furthered her knowledge by getting trained in the U.S and East Asia and has completed her International Master Groomers degree accredited in the USA. Radhiya is the first Indian to participate in International Grooming Shows in the U.S. and had won third place in the Intermediate class of the Purebreds competition, grooming a Bischon Frise, amongst many mature and experienced professionals. She has also completed her training in Pet Psychology , Canine Communication accredited in the UK  and is currently completing here education in pet physiotherapy.

Her brand Fuzzy Wuzzy is India's Premier Pet Styling Studio & Spa and is the first of its kind. She also runs a Pet Grooming School , where she tutors and trains aspiring pet groomers to make a profession out of their passion. She has trained over 250 students till date from India, France, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Everyone of them is a successful entrepreneur today.

Radhiya is a multi talented personality. After much research and after personally grooming over 7500 dogs and cats over the last 15 years . She has introduced her line of exclusive grooming tools ,shampoos ,conditioner, absorbent towels and shears under the banner " FUZZY WUZZY". She has also Launched her Pro Groom series of grooming tools and luxury shampoos, conditioner and Absorbent towels for pets under her brand FUNKY FURZ. This brand has a fashionable range of pet clothing and trendy accessories for pets too. Apart from this Radhiya also owns a designer Boutique for women called “BRIDAL COUTURE”, which caters exclusively to the fancy and need of every bride-to-be.


Radhiya is on the Sub Editorial Committee of the Premier magazine, brought out by the Kennel Club of India known as the  Indian Kennel Gazette. She contributes articles on grooming every month. She is also the show committee member of The Rottweiler Club of Karnataka.  She is also a member of the  Karuna Animal Welfare of Karnataka and the Indian Cat Federation.

Radhiya has been Training and showing her dogs for the Dog Shows from her childhood days. She has been trained in the correct scissoring, clipping and styling of various show dogs. With the knowledge she acquires on a day to day basis, she hopes to follow in the footsteps of her mother to become an All Breeds Judge as well. 

She travels the world for Dog Shows, Grooming Shows and Trade Shows to enhance her skills and knowledge and identify new and unique pet concepts, to introduce into India. She has judged pet shows in India and Abroad for charity, bakes delicious cakes for dogs and is also a Pet consultant.

Radhiya and her Fuzzy Wuzzy Pet Styling Studio and Spa,  has been featured in leading newspapers and has been featured on many popular television channels.
She had started the  initiative “Be Good And Do Good”, to encourage feeding and providing water for stray and homeless pets and animals across the city.

Radhiya believes that each individual needs to contribute to make a change in this world. She strongly feels that people who show compassion towards animals are better human beings.
